MASTER BUSHING:JOTMB-3750 model :- |
|
The JOTMB-3750 model hinged pin drive Master Bushing for 37-1/2 rotary table is developed for off-shore drilling operations. JOTMB is capable to handle 2-3/8 through 13-3/8 inch O.D. drill pipe, drill collars, tubing and casing up to a load of 500 tons. JOTMB with a hinged design can be removed from the rotary table to pass large diameter bit and pipe connections directly through the Rotary table yet it has all the performance features of a solid master bushing. The JOTMB is equipped with insert bowl No.3 (Std) and optional inserts bowl No.1 & 2. The JOTMB is incorporated with latches that lock into the rotary table. Locking latches are provided that lock the bowls into the bushing. Master Bushing is also equipped with retainer pins to prevent them from falling out when the hinges are opened. |

|
The JOTMB-3750 SQ model hinged pin drive Master Bushing for 37-1/2 rotary table is developed for off-shore OIL WELL ROTARY table. JOTMB is capable to handle 2-3/8 through 13-3/8 inch O.D. drill pipe, drill collars, tubing and casing up to a load of 500 tons. JOTMB with a hinged design can be removed from the rotary table to pass large diameter bit and pipe connections directly through the Rotary table yet it has all the performance features of a solid master bushing. Janki Oil Tools has developed Solid Body Pin Drive master bushing taking in to account different sizes of rotary table 20.½" and 27.½". The advantage of using Pin Drive Kelly Bushings makes it possible to use extended slip bowls in the rotary table while the Kelly bushing is in operation. The extended bowls are made in three sizes for different sizes of tubulars as given below :- |

Extended bowls provide better slip back ups & this back up is made use of in running in heavier tubular strings with out string failure due to bottle necking. JOTMB 2750 PS & JOTMB 2050 PS with appropriate insert bowl in use can hold maximum of 500 tons string load. |

Keeping in view requirement of shallow to medium depth wells JOTMB - 2750 PSP, JOTMB-2050 PSP & JOTMB - 1750 PSP have been developed by Janki Oi Tools for 27½" and 20.½" sizes. Rotary Tables Pin drive has same advantages as in JOTMB 2750 PS , JOTMB 2050 PS & JOTMB 1750 PS. The JOTMB 2750 PSP , JOTMB 2050 PSP & JOTMB 1750 master bushings are provided with an extended API taper in the bowls. Rise in taper by 2.½" inches, makes all slips rise by 2.½" which makes slip handling easier. This rise of slips distributes the load uniformly in the bushing resulting in less wear & tear of table bore. Additionally this taper provides 50% more slip support resulting in better load managing capability.

17.½" Through 27.½" JOTMB-2750 SS is used for all drilling operations up to 10000 feet. Square Drive Kelly Bushing JOTMB-2750 SS is used where a large slip back-up area is not needed. With the help of different sizes extended API insert bowls JOTMB-2750 SS can handle tubular of 2.3/8" to 13.3/8" OD. The solid outer body is designed in a way that it supports all transverse load and imparts suitable backing for split insert bowls even when the rotary table is in use for drilling operation. |
